  I was searching for a church community a reasonable distance from my home that would provide warm fellowship and a philosophy that allowed me to question things that many churches expected me to accept on faith alone, a church that provided an atmosphere of acceptance and permission for me to explore my relationship with God and Christ with not only my heart but also my mind. I researched many churches online, found Shepherd of the Hill, contacted Pastor Gordon Stewart, met him for coffee, liked what I heard and then attended my first service. I was surprised by the warm reception I received having many people come up to me, introducing themselves and welcoming me to the church. SHPC (Shepherd of the Hill Presbyterian Church) is now my spiritual home surpassing all my expectations. I am particularly impressed by Pastor Gordon Stewart’s inspirational sermons. I am also impressed with the Shepherd Of The Hill Dialogues, sessions that explore societal issues facing all of us.

  I love this church and I'm someone who doesn't like going to church! Real, honest ministry with an emphasis on helping homeless families and one that teaches true equality, acceptance and love.
